Terms of Service
Last Updated: August 6, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ShiftSeal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the platform on behalf of an employer or organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.
2. Service Description & Multi-Tenant Access
ShiftSeal provides a multi-tenant electronic timesheet management software solution. Access to organizational portals, timesheet records, administrative tools, and payroll reporting is authorized based on account roles configured by designated Company Administrators.
3. User Responsibilities & Account Security
Users must maintain the confidentiality of their credentials and comply with platform security policies:
- You must provide accurate account information and update credentials promptly when required.
- Privileged accounts (Admin and Payroll roles) must enroll and complete multi-factor authentication (TOTP or email verification).
- You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account credentials.
4. Timesheet Validity & Electronic Signatures
Submitting or approving a timesheet on ShiftSeal with an electronic signature constitutes a legally binding record of work performed and verified. Users agree not to submit fraudulent entries, unauthorized signature representations, or altered records.
5. Subscription & Tiered Usage
Organizations use ShiftSeal under specified subscription plan tiers. Feature availability (such as custom form fields, CSV exports, and multi-admin management) is governed by your organization's active subscription tier.
6. Intellectual Property & Ownership
ShiftSeal retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform, including software architecture, visual designs, logos, and trademarks. Organizations retain ownership of their proprietary timesheet data and user records.
7. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers
ShiftSeal is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShiftSeal disclaims all warranties, express or implied. ShiftSeal shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform use or service interruptions.
8. Modifications & Termination
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Access may be suspended or terminated for violations of account security or non-compliance with these terms.
